The Ranch
Located in the hill country of west Texas, the L Bar 7 Ranch lies northeast of the historic town of Sonora. Rolling hills covered with majestic oaks, mesquite, cactus and did I mention rocks, make up the landscape providing native grasses, cover and forage for the livestock and some of the State's best white-tail deer hunting. We also have some of the most gorgeous sunrises and sunsets on GOD's green earth!

The L Bar 7 is owned by Leander Frey and operated by Leander and Charlene Cummings who are dedicated to the ranching lifestyle and spends the entire year managing the ranch, it's livestock and the wildlife.

At L Bar 7 we raise beef cattle with approximately 150 cow/calf pairs year round, with the calves normally sold at weaning, depending on market prices. We also raise roughly 400+ Spanish/Boer goat nannies/kid pairs. Kids are also, normally, sold when weaned in the fall. We always have cow/calves, goats and horses for sale at the ranch. Call or stop by... friends are always welcome.
